Clorox, Ammonia and Coffee
About the film:
Morning comes to a small town in Norway, where the lives of various characters intertwine in Clorox, Ammonia and Coffee, a comedy-drama as unique and unpredictable as its title. Insightful and entertaining, it suggests a Robert Altman ensemble piece but directed with Dogma 95 edginess.
Black comedy with an important message: Wash less, and devote yourself more to love. "Salto, salmiakk og kaffe" is about a group of people who put duty and work before everything else, who wash too much, hang out too little and let love get in the way last row...On a hot summer day, heavily pregnant single mother and fish counter dispatcher Maria suddenly needs a lot of money. She robs Jesus, and nothing stays the same in the small community.
